Horizonte
When adrenaline of sweat streaming down the forehead,
When the Sun was beating down on the tropical land,
When the deceptive clouds strewed over the atmosphere,
Glittering sea tides,
Colorful troposphere,
The orange soaked blue blent horizonte of Kapu beach dwarfed each and every hitch.
The caress of sea tides bloomed the bleak soul

keep distance, don't be romantic

Terrace flaming sky
It is difficult to predict if the sky illuminates or not. If you are lucky, the huge cloud mass cracks, paving way for tiny flash of sun to illuminate during the sunrise/sunset. This needs to be backed by strewed clouds which allow sunlight to illuminate the troposphere. Today also I was in dilemma to wait for the complete showdown or leave for the day. However as the dusk neared, the clouds slowly started lighting up. The peak was horrific to behold as if it was precursor to a disaster.
Here are the pictures of illuminating vermillion sky. Hope you enjoy the flaming sky. Whether we have rains or not, the sky is packed with clouds with scarce downpour. This year monsoon has been tantalizing and hopefully the intense illumination is not hinting at subdued monsoon activity.

Capricious Monsoon - Day 2
16 June 2019
We had similar scenes next day with exception of having more dense clouds. Nevertheless, the rain activity was nil. On the other hand, the Vayu cyclone seems to have lost intensity and lingering over Arabian sea for the energy to dissolve. The swaying cyclone is now downgraded to deep depression. Two days later, the lurching cyclone finally committed suicide over the Arabian sea and thus ending the apprehension on its landfall. Good news that it did not make landfall and destruct public property but importantly unblocking the further onset of monsoon which is already delayed by 2 weeks. Hopefully, the monsoon surges towards mainland India and rejuvenates the desiccated landscape.

Capricious monsoon
15 June 2019,
Conceiving of tropical cyclone seems to be formality before onset of monsoon. This cyclone turns destructive in few areas and at the same time hinders smooth outset of monsoon. The cyclone shadow areas need to bare blistering heat for couple of days or more before cyclone finally dissipates. This year we have Vayu swirling over the waters of Arabian sea which is exhibiting eccentric behavior by changing paths. The cyclone which was all set to hit Gujarat abruptly turned direction towards Gulf. Even though big relief for Gujarat region, its prolonged presence is spoiling the smooth onset of monsoon. The met department is confident that this activity will not last longer than 2 days and later monsoon will be on track.
But who knows! The nature has its own formula. Past 5 years shows declining monsoon trend in coast. The tantrums of monsoon is unpredictable. Only at times Monsoon pours with might to teach mankind a lesson. Otherwise, it has been slacking off over the years. The roaring july monsoon nowadays is elusive. This year monsoon is no different story. Its onset has been quite enigmatic & absurd. The presence of Vayu brought heavy rains in coast for couple of days blooming hopes of coastal areas which were reeling under arid weather. Unfortunately, the rains subsided as Vayu moved northwards. Even MET office is confused whether monsoon is actually onset or not. The MET office has already declared onset of monsoon over coastal karnataka. However, it looks like that declaration was mere influence of cyclonic activity. It is still unclear if northern limit of monsoon has crossed Kerala. Hopefully the monsoon will recharge as expected in coming days and bring cheers to people of India.
Back in Bangalore, the cloud activity has reduced. The density of clouds in plateaus invariably hints at intensity monsoon activity along west coast and ghat areas. The presence of clean skies over Bangalore implies subdued monsoon activity. As last week, this time also the light was beautiful which tempted me to grab few shots at Rachenahalli lake. During our long walk around Rachenahalli lake with my friend, I managed to capture few azure shots to satisfy my photography soul. This is not captured out of my excitement rather to display moaning for reduced monsoon activity. There were few lazy clouds hovering over the skies but nowhere near to be qualified as rain bearing clouds. There was beautiful sunset too but could not capture since we were in other part of lake during those hours.
There was huge band of clouds raising from western horizon but they magically vanished in minutes.
