The evergreen scene travelling through the shiradi ghat. My favorite spot along Bangalore-Mangalore National highway. For natural nature lovers, the best of Mangalore journey is Shiradi ghat. Out of this, my first choice is the Gundya river meandering through lush green western ghats. An eternal beauty spot especially during monsoon season. The chemistry of nature and monsoon is inexplicable. My penchant for evergreen tropical forests grows intense after gazing such scenes. Once you hook to mountains, its an addiction. Never letting go even a single splendour of display by mother nature. I hope such natural addiction in me never fades away.
Gundya river meandering through valley of Western ghats. The stream turn ruddy during peak monsoon season before settling to normal color when monsoon takes long break. Once you hook to mountains, it's addiction. Never letting go even single splendour of display. Penchant for rainforest grows intense when you gaze upon the mountains glammed up by the monsoon.

Lovely abundant lush nature captures!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful views, I can see why you love it.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in the mountain west of the USA. Dry, dry, dry where weeds don't even grow in vacant lots. Where I live now is lots more green and when I go back to the west it looks stark.
Beautiful scenery and captures. xx
