Capricious Monsoon - Day 2

16 June 2019

We had similar scenes next day with exception of having more dense clouds. Nevertheless, the rain activity was nil. On the other hand, the Vayu cyclone seems to have lost intensity and lingering over Arabian sea for the energy to dissolve. The swaying cyclone is now downgraded to deep depression. Two days later, the lurching cyclone finally committed suicide over the Arabian sea and thus ending the apprehension on its landfall. Good news that it did not make landfall and destruct public property but importantly unblocking the further onset of monsoon which is already delayed by 2 weeks. Hopefully, the monsoon surges towards mainland India and rejuvenates the desiccated landscape.
