Morning Stand-Off!

Street dogs are one of the biggest menace, be it urban or rural parts of India. They group in large numbers and create ruckus not only amongst them but also to bystanders & passerby. Same happens to me when I take stroll over the rural roads of my village. Large group of street dogs gather and begin to bicker early morning. This reaches peak during mating season. The usual territorial and ego clashes are unstoppable when mates are limited.

Here is one such stand-off that occurred perhaps while negotiating territorial disputes. Even though they were nervous of my presence, I didn't dare to approach them with audacity. Will never try as well! These are non-vaccinated and are highly dangerous if they bite out of madness! Some of them are strapped means owned dogs. Since rural people do not tie the leash, the dogs roam around freely throughout the village. These dogs too are not vaccinated I believe. Even though home grown, the dogs step out of their bounds and thus resulting in wider clash.

Meanwhile, I shot the pictures while maintaining safe distance!
