The election saga is over. Fortunately, we have ruler with sufficient majority to rule on its own. This helps Indian economy to grow and flourish in long run. However, the poor monsoon onset is showing negative signs on country whose economy majorly lies with agriculture. The intense cloud activity over Arabian sea is triggering high hopes of making landfall soon.
Back to square one. The incumbent rulers of Karnataka were shamefully flushed out in central elections. The road work which started as election gimmick were thought to be stalled permanently owing to shameful defeat. The subdued activity fueled such a surmise. However, today the road equipments made inroads into our territory and thus filling the void of unattended roads. From the apartment terrace we witnessed the roadwork and as well beautiful evening sun. Kids were cheerfully observing the roadwork virtually directing the workman of expected equipment movement. Alongside I was engaged in intermittent horizon shots but naught with clouds.
Unlike earlier posts, now the horizon does not completely fit in frame. The area is obfuscated with residential high risers which block much of sky. Hopefully, the rest of part has culminated well.
On our return, we witnessed huge storm cloud barraging towards our area which kindled hope of heavy shower. Unfortunately it did not. This massive cloud band had lost charm by the time it reached the sky over our apartment. Nevertheless, Bangalore had one of the best pre-monsoon spells this summer in spite of late arrival.

Awesome skies! Kids are attracted to strange things--I love how they are just quietly watching the roadwork.
