This week's birding was shifted to Friday than Wednesday owing to genuine reasons. It turned out to be uninspiring thanks to protracted to cloud cover. The city is witnessing sailing clouds for no reasons i.e. they neither precipitate nor clear out. Occasionally the atmosphere clears off but largely during noon hours. Anyways, there was something interesting during conclusion of walk.
As I mentioned above, the poor light spoiled the pictures which I snapped. Most of them turned noisy and consequently reduced sharpness. Patient did not work out today either.
The Ashy Prinia was my initial customer today as usual. They are large in numbers which are conspicuous with their ringing call. The picture was OK with visible grains
Swallows were preening and absorbing Sun. Couldn't get better picture of them
The interesting part arrived at the concluding end. I had pleasant surprise. The intermediate plumaged purple sunbird male was anxiously calling its partner(?) sitting atop a small tree. That was too closely perched which was easy grab. I could take sharp pictures despite the poor light. This is where the lens reach can make difference. Even if the light is poor, the longer focal length which can reach closer to bird can still frame a clear picture. Here are pictures to rejoice.
Few landscape shots to conclude
Here is a short video of purple sunbird call
