Not the developed beach in Udupi district. The best part of Hejamady beach is its backwaters. The current backwater system doesn't meet sea. It takes a while in monsoon season for sea and backwater to merge. The forked backwater is something joyous to watch. There are plenty of aquatic birds too relishing their meals.
It was fun time with family members when everyone decided to have beach visit. Around 20 members of family visited the beach nearby in 4 cars. With loud chit-chats, the beautiful sunset, the roaring waves transformed the humid Saturday to pleasant evening. We walked over the dunes for considerable distance and also dabbled the foot in sea water. The sunset was colorful and sun was blushing as evening crossed. I took plenty of pictures alongside chit chats.
Delightful photos!

Of course you took photos, good ones! Because you are a photoblogger and that is what you do. What a great series of photos. To me, the backwater is probably where life began in its messy intermixed mess.
