Never in my lifetime, I have seen such massive clouds during January month. Its raining all over South India. Even in Hosaadu, we see massive clouds due east. The weather is hot and humid but still not attracting rain. The slopes of Western Ghats are seeing good rains. While the rains are welcome relief during pestering weather, it has worried farming community. The harvested Areca nut kept for drying is being dampened by unseasonal rains and the winter crops are being obliterated. This weather is also detrimental to mango cultivation as well. But who can face the song of nature. We can only document via pictures or videos and witness the consequences of crime committed by us on nature.
Today I accidentally spotted these heavy clouds and photographed few of them around 3:30PM. Behold the beauty of nature and accept its fury. The closeup of nimbus clouds shows lot of details in troposphere and also fascinating while watching them on computer. I also learnt yet another use of my 70-300mm lens apart from birding and landscape capture.
