Here are some HDR pictures composed during my visit to in-laws house, this Deepavali season. Apart from enjoying the nature along the banks of majestic Souparnika river, I learned some important lessons on HDR compositions as well. Good thing about HDR image is in addition to embellishing the pictures, they provide natural look similar to human eyes. Also, it involves major chunk of post-processing which is fun altogether despite needing long hours :). A brief stroll for an hour during golden rise of Sun coupled with glistening ripples over the Souparnika & glowing magroves provided perfect platform for nature lovers & landscape photographers. Unlike her roaring display during monsoon season, the souparnika was lumbering gently towards Arabian sea. Despite the onset of winter, the enigmatic weather maintaining sultry atmosphere at coastal
karanataka with patch of NE monsoon clouds. Probably this is foreword to dwindling climate on earth. The scattered clouds created
a splendid reflections over the majestic souparnika river
amidst the lush green mangroves. Also the extended rainy season has kept the verdancy alive. A perfect platform for composing
portrait of landscape!

ReplyDeleteGreat series! Stunning captures.
ReplyDeleteYour photographs are beautiful. I have used HDR and although they make for much better photographs for various reasons I have never made anything remotely as beautiful as yours. I guess that I'll have to get back to the drawing board and up my game by quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteThese shots are stunning!
