It is difficult to predict if the sky illuminates or not. If you are lucky, the huge cloud mass cracks, paving way for tiny flash of sun to illuminate during the sunrise/sunset. This needs to be backed by strewed clouds which allow sunlight to illuminate the troposphere. Today also I was in dilemma to wait for the complete showdown or leave for the day. However as the dusk neared, the clouds slowly started lighting up. The peak was horrific to behold as if it was precursor to a disaster.
Here are the pictures of illuminating vermillion sky. Hope you enjoy the flaming sky. Whether we have rains or not, the sky is packed with clouds with scarce downpour. This year monsoon has been tantalizing and hopefully the intense illumination is not hinting at subdued monsoon activity.
