Sassy sunset at Kapu beach

After rainy days, we finally decided to meet our lovely beach. Chance arrived on concluding day of Navaratri. Vijay on vijayadashami for visiting beach. It was worth a thousand times speculating rains and traffic. The holiday traffic was huge and the main entrance was closed to facilitate smooth movement of Vijayadashami procession. We had to take alternate route. The route was clogged with tourist traffic and we had pain parking our car. It was nearly 500m lengthy line of jam with visitors struggling to get parking slot. Official parking was full and backlog kept on increasing. I had parked at couple of empty spots but police shoved us away. I was feeling helpless and thought would have tp retreat. Finally, I managed a place few distance away. Once I got up from driver seat, the glossy sunset drove me nuts. I ran for nearly 500m to get those final glimpses because that would fade away quite quickly. After heavy run, I reached entrance and the work out was worth it. I captured those glistening moments and soul exhilarated. For few minutes I was gazing upon the colourful sunset. The rains did not bother and we played for a while in mighty waves. After the struggle, the final outcome wiped away all those obstacles from memory. What was left was in mind was the picture of true splendour of nature.

Despite the fat crowd, I found narrow gaps just to capture nature only pictures

These boats were lined up for visarjan of navadurga on concluding day of Navaratri

Aqua-roller ride is new attraction in beach. With gnarly waves slapping the shore, it was difficult to manage since they overpower humans easily. Intimidating violent waves waves slapping shore made us not to try the new arrival

Beach looked messy with overcrowding but the enriched sky cleared all the mess

The monsoon is still alive in our part of tropics. It rains intermittently with varying intensity. Despite rallying for more than 4.5 months, rains doesn't seem to wrap up. Fortunately, not the heavy rains which used to be the case during June-July months. Despite the moderate intensity, these short time spells are enough to keep the ground over saturated which may spoil the standing crops.

Even though we faced zero rains during our visit, the rains came back at night and lasted till morning. This was the towering nimbus clouds while walking away from sea towards parking arena. The lush greenery is awesome sight to behold!
