Gangolli Beach Sea Walk

Constructed along the path of estuary extending all the way to sea (covering part of sea), the gangolli beach walk hosts fabulous views of nature. On the western horizon we see majestic Arabian sea, northern side hosts sea tides reaching shore, eastern side displays majestic views of mangroves & western ghats and southern side lures people to Kodi sea-walk. The Gangolli sea-walk spans around 600m+ distance with sturdy construction. The Gangolli sea-walk is constructed in parallel to Kodi sea-walk.

The Gangolli sea-walk starts after the fish unloading point is barely surrounded by urban landscape. Its pure nature with zero shops. The approach road to Gangolli is manageable and authorities collect Rs.20/- parking fee. There is not much to rejoice here for merry-makers. This is place to enjoy the nature to fullest. If you wish to experience urban lifestyle, Kodi beach is best for you :-). Before the path to sea-walk outsets, a fork will lead you to sea shore as well. A tedious walk along the beach sand leads you to shore where you can play in sea water. But we barely saw any activity in shore. There are other shores in gangolli which are suitable for playing in sea water. The shore near sea walk can be ideal for hunting additional photographic perceptions.

Here are sunset pictures from the Gangolli beach. It was truly lucky day for me. The nonseasonal weather drew strong nimbus clouds at eastern horizon and the sky was glittering with evening light. As expected, the evening artwork over the sky was blissful to watch.

Food:

There are no food options. This place is not commercially developed for tourism. You need to carry own food.

Conclusion:

Overall, fabulous views and benevolent nature. This is the take-away if you are ardent nature fan. Not an ideal place for merry-makers who wish to have some fun in cafe :-). Kodi beach is ideal for that. Kodi beach also has boat house which can be booked for special occasions. This air-conditioned boat looks to be equipped with kitchen and facilities for organizing gatherings. Not sure about the rentals though :-)

The primary disadvantage of this place is, no boating activity. It would be fabulous experience to have boat ride along the estuary. This is possible only at adjacent Kodi beach for now. Hopefully authorities would consider to start ferry rides from Gangolli sea-walk as well.
