Village Path and Guthu House

I miss these scenes a ton. The daily cycling around village provided opportunity to create multiple portraits of nature. Every sunset was bliss and every sunrise of rejuvenating. While cycling helped in physical fitness, the nature helped in mental harmony. The tranquillity of village is unparalleled. I can experience in Bangalore the contrast. It has been boring stay in city with zero nature and zero places to unwind in nature. There is nothing to offset the traumas of work. The humid village weather did not stop me from exploring the nature wholeheartedly. The stress of work was never experienced thanks to the free therapy of nature. The work from home paradigm has enabled us to work from remote areas and it was possible to explore villages like never before. The additional work was never burden, thanks to fresh wind and pristine nature. I have earnest desire to experience monsoon season before we shift work back to office. Hopefully, this year I can work with monsoon season from village. Here are the village path pictures from cycle ride.

The traditional coastal Karnataka houses are called as Guthu-House meaning house of landlords. The houses are roofed with traditional red tiles and has wide veranda. There is temple of daiva around the boundary of house. The best thing about these houses is they are surrounded by abundant nature which is pleasure to behold.
