Similar to Plum headed, yet another elusive bird to shoot. Man these guys fly away with tiny movements. I don't know how these are adopted as pets. The name derives from the rose ring surrounding their neck. Their food habits seemed to be similar to Plum headed parakeets. I had seen them once close to our house but did not have camera :-(.
