Bird Series - White Cheeked Barbet

These are birds quite common in South India. Their calls are pleasing to here (koo-proo, koo-proo..). Every morning starts with either barbet call or bulbul call. Despite being widely distributed in our village, picturing them is quite difficult since they camouflage inside canopies. Fortunately on couple of occasions, I saw them foraging on berry tree and cashew tree at our backyard which enabled me to capture crisp pictures. Somehow I feel they have a face matching old humans :-).
