Monsoon Diary 2020 - The first visit to river bank

It has been quite months since I visited the majestic Souparnika river bank nearby in-laws house. Today I woke up a bit early exclusively to have a look at the river and its landscape. It was a lame day though with moisture less erratic clouds glued to the sky and haze filling atmosphere. There were couple of rain drops too to disturb my photoshoot but not enough to penetrate the camera body.

At first, I was disinterested to capture anything due to bad light. Later on this parked boat from early morning fish with long standing coconut tree provided few beautiful perception to capture. The final pictures were good if not great but better than expected for this bland weather. Hope you enjoy! The intense cloud activity along the northern part provided some hopes of making landfall overhead but they disappeared as the day progressed.

The view from paddy field is testimony to lousy aura on that day.

And finally, enjoy a short video from river bank
