Clouds in February is rare event in our village. The MET department had predicted cloud activity in coastal Karnataka on 16th, 17th and 18th with mild rains. The prediction is perfect and we are witnessing the cloud activity from past 2 days as predicted . Today though, the cloud formation due west triggered hope of mild showers but did not happen. The cool breeze though was clear indication that it rained at nearby places where the cloud cover was overhead. We just had the opportunity to gaze at the cloud activity for a while. The summer feel already here at coast and the rains would have been quick relief to blistering humidity. Hopefully it rains in coming days.
